'Bachelor' Producers Sue Guiney The folks behind "The Bachelor" are suing their latest guy, Bob Guiney, although the action has nothing to do with the state of Guiney's love life.Instead, AND Syndicated Productions wants Guiney and Wind-Up Records, the label that released Guiney's album "3 Sides," to stop promoting the album and a video for one of its songs, the AP reports. AND, which is part of Warner Bros. subsidiary Telepictures, filed its breach-of-contract suit Friday (Dec. 19) in Los Angeles. The suit claims Guiney's "Bachelor" contract prohibits him from promoting any product other than the show without the producers' consent.By making public appearances in support of his album, Guiney is breaking that contract, AND contends. The producers want him and Wind-Up to stop promoting "3 Sides" and are also seeking unspecified monetary damages. After Guiney was rejected on "The Bachelorette" last season, ABC tapped him to star in "The Bachelor." He eventually chose 28-year-old Estella Gardinier from 25 women, although the couple didn't get engaged. Rumors have swirled lately that the couple are on the outs.A representative for Wind-Up, which also counts Creed and Grammy nominee Evanescence among its artists, couldn't be reached for comment.
